He demanded and accepted Rs.2 crores as bribe for granting permission to start new admission of students in the Gyan Sagar Medical College and Hospital, Punjab. Already this college is in existence with lack of required facilities. The presently sort for permission was rejected on february 5 by executive committee of MCI based on the defeciencies in the previous inspection report. Now the president took up the power in his hands overlooking the decesion of the executive committee.
